Paint correction in Arvada, CO

Paint correction removes the swirls, scratches, and haze that dull your finish, bringing back the depth and gloss the paint had when it was new. It is also the step that has to come first before any coating.

What it is

Fix the paint before you seal it

Over time paint picks up swirl marks from washing, fine scratches, water spots, and oxidation from the sun. Correction uses machine polishing to level those defects and restore clarity and gloss, rather than just filling them temporarily. Light defects call for a single stage. Deeper damage needs multi-stage work. This matters most before a ceramic coating, because a coating locks in whatever is underneath it. Correct first, then seal, and the finish looks better for years.

What to expect

How it works

1 · Paint inspection & measureWe inspect the finish under proper lighting and measure paint thickness so we know how much correction the clear coat can safely take.
2 · Test spotWe dial in the right pad and polish combination on a test section and show you the result before we commit to the whole vehicle.
3 · Machine correctionWe machine polish panel by panel to remove swirls and defects and restore gloss, working at a safe, measured pace.
4 · Protect (coating recommended)With the paint corrected, we recommend sealing it with a ceramic coating so the results are protected instead of swirling back in a few washes.
FAQ

Common questions

Single-stage or multi-stage correction?
It depends on the paint. Light swirls and haze usually come out in a single stage. Deeper scratches and heavy oxidation need multiple stages. We inspect and measure first, then recommend only what your paint actually needs.
Will the swirls come back?
Not from the correction itself. Swirls come back from how a vehicle is washed. Harsh brush car washes and dirty towels put them right back. Sealing the paint with a coating and washing gently keeps a corrected finish looking right. We will show you how.
